Congratulations to Jack Ponder and Tucker Kuykendall

Jack and Tucker Sign Letter of Intent

The Diamond Mine would like to congratulate Jack Ponder and Tucker Kuykendall on their big day.  Both signed letters of intent to play collegiate baseball at the Division I level on Tuesday.  Jack will continue his career at UNC Greensboro joining former Enka and Diamond Mine pitcher Matt Frisbee and Tucker will take his talents to Virginia Military Institute.  Both are pitchers and it marks two years in a row in which two pitchers from The Diamond Mine have signed at the NCAA Division I level. Last year, Matt Frisbee signed at UNC Greensboro and Thomas Tatham signed at Wofford.  All four pitchers were participants in the Pitching University program and we at The Diamond Mine are proud of their accomplishments and their hard work. Congratulations to Jack, Tucker and their families on this achievement.
